If you're interested in applying to do a PhD in the group, you can send an email to applications-kyng@lists.inf.ethz.ch (as a precaution against spam filters, cc Prof. Kyng as well). Please include your transcript, a CV, and any other relevant information. The group may request letters of recommendation later in the interview process, but prefers to receive these directly from recommenders.
The standard PhD program requires applicants to hold a master's degree when they start. If you would like to start directly after receiving a bachelor's degree, you should apply to the Direct Doctorate Program (joint Master's and PhD), and also send an email to the above address to let Prof. Kyng know you are interested in joining the group. Candidates should have a strong background in theoretical computer science or mathematics.
Students in the group are usually jointly mentored by Dr. Maximilian Probst Gutenberg and Prof. Rasmus Kyng.
The group has an opening for a two-year postdoc position. Candidates should have a strong publication record in theoretical computer science and research interests that overlap with the group's focus areas. The starting date is flexible, and the position offers a competitive salary and generous funding for work travel.
