Restaurant recommendations

ETH and the university have many catering options, including vegan and vegetarian food. There is a range of canteens open at lunchtime. The largest canteen, Mensa Polyterrasse, is open for lunch (11.15-14.00) and again for dinner (17.30-19.30) . There are also a number of restaurants and takeaway options near ETH that offer a variety of international dishes from all over the world. The canteens are more affordable than restaurants, which are expensive by international standards. Supermarkets Coop and Migros also have lunch options.
